Butterfly Opening Cue Cases
PREDATOR BUTTERFLY OR HORIZONTAL OPENING CUE CASES
Butterfly or horizontal-opening cue cases open like a book and are often chosen by top billiard players for their lightweight design, superior accessibility, and greater storage capacity than traditional hard-shell cases.
Lightweight: Many butterfly cases are made of softer, lighter materials, making them easier to carry for long tournaments than heavy, hard-top-loading cases.
Superior Accessibility: Butterfly cases offer a "presentation" style layout. By opening fully, they provide better access to cues, which can be more practical for tacky grips and rubber-gripped carom cues.
Increased Storage Capacity: Because they open horizontally, butterfly-opening cases usually offer more space for cues, jump cues, extensions, chalk, and extra shafts, often with a high capacity configuration of up to 4 butts and 8 shafts (4x8).
